Despite losing to the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James is showing off his development in the NBA Summer League. The former USC Trojans star led his team with 17 points in the losing effort.

Since acquiring Luka Doncic earlier this year, the Los Angeles Lakers clarified that they consider him the face of the franchise.

"Yeah, we want him to play on the ball," Lakers assistant and Vegas Summer League coach Lindsay Harding said, according to Brad Turner of The Los Angeles Times. "Especially in tight moments, I like the ball in his hands and I want him to make those decisions."
