Dodgers' Mookie Betts admits 'this season's over' after brutal struggles
Betts has heated up a bit of late, but he's still at career worsts in average (.239), OBP (.309), slugging (.371) and OPS (.680), all by pretty wide margins. The Dodgers have won in spite of those struggles, though, and Betts wants to be part of what happens the rest of the way for the defending World Series champions.
J.D. Martinez takes trip to help struggling Mookie Betts
J.D. Martinez traveled to aid struggling superstar Mookie Betts (88 OPS plus) at a Tampa batting cage last weekend. The two teamed on the World Series champion 2018 Red Sox and 2023 Dodgers. As suggested here previously, Martinez could help his old Mets team.
