Missouri lawmakers have approved hundreds of millions of dollars of incentives to try to persuade the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals to keep playing in Missouri.
The Royals and Chiefs saluted the Missouri House on Wednesday after approval of a stadium-incentives package. But neither organization committed to remaining in the Show-Me State. The teams issued statements soon after the plan passed 90-58 in the Missouri House.
