Tropical Storm Barbara continues to weaken as it heads northwest away from land and is likely to dissipate by Wednesday.

Tropical Storm Barbara has formed off the southwest coast of Mexico, the National Hurricane Center in Miami said early Sunday. No coastal watches or warnings were issued.

The storms are expected to become weaker in the coming days, but another tropical depression is forecasted to form later in the week.
