The Mets finally had a "great night" offensively, according to manager Carlos Mendoza, but perhaps the most impressive display was Ronny Mauricio's 465-foot solo blast that landed in the third deck. Mendoza and Francisco Lindor couldn't recall ever seeing a player hit a HR up there,

The Mets (41-24) own the best record in the National League  and will attempt to complete the sweep of the Rockies (12-52) on Sunday before returning home.

Ronny Maurico hit his first homer of the season, a 456-foot shot into the second deck, Francisco Lindor had three hits and two stolen bases, and the New York Mets rolled past the Colorado Rockies 8-1.
