From the Portland Business Journal. Nike executive Mary Beth Laughton has been named incoming CEO of REI. Laughton has since August 2023 been head of Nike Global Direct to Consumer.

Laughton said she’s feeling optimistic now about what’s to come and that the business is in a healthier place. REI, with its 25 million members, is the largest consumer co-op in the nation, she said.
