PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After reopening a 1983 cold case last year involving the disappearance of a 27-year-old woman, Oregon officials say that the woman was murdered and an arrest has been made.

Mark Sanfratello, 72, was arrested in Chico, California, in connection with the 1983 death of Teresa Peroni, the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office said in a June 30 Facebook post.
