Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson came to the defense of the tight end who has been his safety blanket for much of his career.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport mentioned the Ravens have still been getting trade interest from some teams in veteran TE Mark Andrews. However, Rapoport points out the Ravens have held onto Andrews all offseason and that’s not necessarily expected to change even though the veteran is entering the final year of his contract.

Meeting with the media June 17, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was impassioned in his defense of his tight end and good friend Mark Andrews, and he spoke of "vengeance" as Jackson and the Ravens look to move past yet another postseason disappointment.
