With so many changes to the starting offense — either because of injuries, such as to Jayden Daniels and Austin Ekeler, or coaching decisions seeking improvement after a bad loss — the Washington Commanders needed a bit of help from everyone.

Daniels was termed “limited” in Washington’s practice on Wednesday. He spoke with reporters afterwards and expressed a strong desire to play in Sunday’s Week 4 game at the Atlanta Falcons. Daniels told reporters that he “feels good.” However, he said “it’s up to the doctors” whether he gets cleared to play. He made clear that he wants to play.
