Apple was meant to release its new M5-based MacBook Pro this year, but new rumors suggest it's delayed, meaning the M6 MacBook won't hit until 2027.
Among MacBook Pros, the best deal I've spotted so far is a $250 discount on a 14-inch M4 model with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It randomly fell to $1,715.05 three times in May, according to the price-tracking site CamelCamelCamel, but otherwise its Prime Day price of $1,749 is its biggest discount since launch.
That’s exactly what’s happening right now with the new 2025 MacBook Air, released in March. The 256GB version launched at $999 but for Prime Day, Amazon has dropped the price to $849. This is not only the lowest price ever for this model, but it’s also half the price of the least expensive MacBook Pro which starts at $1,699

Amazon Prime Day deals are in full effect, and even on Day 3 of the sales, Apple continues to offer some stellar MacBook deals, with savings of up to $350 on every Air and Pro model. The best deals I've seen so far are $150 off the M4 MacBook Air (arguably one of the best laptops you can buy right now) and a whopping $170 off the M4 MacBook Pro.
With the introduction of the first Apple Silicon MacBook Pro, Apple adopted a boxier design with flat edges, thin bezels, and a notch. It has since become the default design for all of its laptops, with the main differences between the MacBook Air and Pro designated by features rather than form factor.

Apple rarely discounts its devices. But Prime Day is the best time to find deals on MacBooks, Apple Watches, and more.
