Love Island USA” contest Yulissa Escobar has broken her silence about her sudden exit from the show. After being dropped from the reality dating series in Episode 2, Escobar took to Instagram Friday to address speculation about her departure and apologize.

"I used it ignorantly, not fully understanding the weight, history, or pain behind it," Escobar wrote in an Instagram post Friday, shortly after clips of her using the N-word resurfaced

Austin Shepard is a pool boy from Northville, Mich., but per his Instagram bio, is now based out of South Florida. According to Shepard's bio, his account is being managed by a social media coordinator while he is in the villa. As he shared in the promo, Shepard loves "making people laugh" and said he "look [s] damn good while cleaning a pool."
