A water line break in Lewisville has prompted a boil water notice and the school district to cancel classes on Monday. The city said the 30" water line break is impacting about 80% of Lewisville water customers.

The City of Lewisville issued a boil water notice on Sunday, February 2, 2025, after a major water main break affected central Lewisville.

A water line break prompted the City of Lewisville to issue a boil water notice Sunday, affecting residents in the middle of the city, officials said.

Twenty-one Lewisville ISD campuses have been closed for Monday, Feb. 3 following a water pipe rupture that has left thousands without water.

The notice is not expected to be lifted before Monday afternoon. Because of the notice, several Lewisville ISD facilities have also announced closures.
