Police have arrested the man suspected of shooting the driver of a vehicle that rammed into a crowd outside a Los Angeles nightclub last month.

Redondo Beach, a coastal city about 21 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. His arrest comes just days after police had identified Villalobos as the suspected gunman in the July 19 shooting.

A man is in custody on attempted murder for allegedly shooting a driver who plowed his car through a crowd in Los Angeles last month, police announced Monday. The arrest comes more than two weeks after what police called the "chaotic" incident outside the music venue The Vermont in East Hollywood.
