The ceremony for the second annual Gotham Television Awards is underway Monday night in New York City, where winners for the year’s best in TV are being revealed as the small-screen awards season hits high gear.

The Studio' was named breakthrough comedy series and 'The Pitt' won breakthrough drama series, with Julio Torres, Poorna Jagannathan, Kathy Bates and Ben Whishaw winning individual acting awards in those categories.

The show isn't necessarily an Emmy predictor, but that doesn't mean you won't see these shows honored in a few months.
