Gerhardt Konig, 46, is being held on an attempted murder charge after allegedly trying to push his wife Arielle Konig during a hike in Oahu, Hawaii, last week.

Arielle Konig, 36, survived the March 24 incident when her husband, Gerhardt Konig, allegedly tried to throw her off a cliff in Oahu, Hawaii, PEOPLE previously reported.

As Gerhardt Konig pushed her toward the cliff's edge, he "was yelling something to the effect of, 'Get back over there, I'm so f------- sick of you!'" according to another court document.
