The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is rescinding $4 billion of unspent federal funds from the California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) following FRA’s compliance review. According to FRA’s compliance review findings,
Funded by the Federal Railroad Administration and implemented by Metrolink in June, the $600,000 system will eliminate delays from unnecessary crossing gate activations. The Moorpark City Council and Ventura County Transportation Commission have advocated for the improvement since 2018.
