Blanchfield was critical of her rival in the immediate aftermath of the cancellation, calling Barber unprofessional. Barber also missed weight by a half-pound for the bout, tipping the scales at 126.5 pounds the day prior, which added fuel to Blanchfield's pre-fight concerns of Barber making the fight.

"It was already six minutes," Blanchfield told MMA Junkie and other reporters backstage after UFC on ESPN 68. "I thought I was going to be told, 'OK, it's time to go.' Then, Hunter (Campbell) comes in and tells me what happened. Yeah, it's pretty crazy."
