In an escalation of Elon Musk’s fractured relationship with President Donald Trump and his Republican allies, the Tesla CEO has floated the idea of starting a new political party to rival the two-party system.

An intense public feud erupted on Thursday between President Donald Trump and his one-time ally, billionaire Elon Musk, with an argument about Trump’s massive tax and domestic policy bill raging across social media and in the Oval Office.

"They've been under incredible stress for five months, give them a break," Errol Musk said while attending a forum by Putin's ultranationalist ally in Moscow.
