With new expansion plans underway, Disneyland announced 'Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!' will close in early 2026.

Disneyland Resort is booting Mike, Sulley and "Monsters, Inc." in favor of a new attraction built around “Avatar: The Way of Water.”

Part of Disney California Adventure’s Hollywood Backlot area will become the new Avatar experience. Here's a look at changes at the theme park.
