Origins to the CBS Fall 2024-2025 schedule, which is an origins story set in 1991 of not just Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Austin Stowell) but also his NCIS mentor and friend Mike Franks (Kyle Schmid).The good news came from CBS that it has given the greenlight to continue telling those stories in a second season and the cases that the two men handle out of the Camp Pendleton (California) NIS office this coming fall 2025-2026.
