Protests over President Trump's immigration enforcement raids and his mobilization of the Marines and National Guard in Los Angeles have spread to other major U.S. cities.

Gavin Newsom said the federal government was moving to "take over the California National Guard," calling the move "purposefully inflammatory" and saying it will "only escalate tensions." The Los Angeles Police Department has declared unlawful assembly in the Alameda area of Los Angeles between Temple and Aliso streets.

Family members and onlookers were seen filming and opposing the raid, with one man standing in front of a van, not letting it pass.
