Triple Olympic gold medalist Faith Kipyegon will try to become the first woman to run a mile in under four minutes later Thursday in Paris.

The race, which has been dubbed Breaking4: Faith Kipyegon vs. the 4-Minute Mile, is a bold attempt by Kipyegon and her main sponsors, Nike, to ensure she runs the mile under 4 minutes. The race will take place on Thursday, June 26, at Stade Charléty in Paris, France, from 8:15 pm.
