We now know when the Celtics will tip off their NBA Cup action, as well as a spot in the NBA's debut night on Amazon Prime.

The Celtics will play in Group B in the Eastern Conference with four matchups (two home, two away) coming as part of their regular season schedule. Boston will also be in the first NBA matchup televised on Amazon Prime on Oct. 24 when they face off against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden during opening week.

The league also announced that Boston will participate in the first NBA game ever aired on Amazon Prime, which will stream the Oct. 24 matchup against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The Celtics’ 2024-25 season ended at MSG with a blowout loss to the Knicks in Game 6 of their second-round playoff series.
