Anthony Davis recently underwent surgery to repair a detached retina in his eye, according to a report from ESPN’s Shams Charania . The Mavericks superstar is expected to make a full recovery in time for Dallas’ training camp, Charania added.

And according to CBS Sports’ Sam Quinn, Harrison and the Mavericks didn't take the right one. Quinn noted that the Mavericks should’ve looked to rebuild around Flagg, and that Harrison’s decision to trade Doncic should've gotten him fired.

The Dallas Mavericks look to be a big team next season. They already had a large frontcourt with Anthony Davis at power forward and the rotating center combo of Dereck Lively II and Daniel Gafford, but that was only emphasized when they won the Draft Lottery and selected Cooper Flagg, the consensus top player in the class.
