South Carolina's race for governor turned into a family pile-on when U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson — the father of GOP candidate Alan Wilson — tore into fellow GOP congresswoman and gubernatorial hopeful Nancy Mace, accusing her of showboating in Washington.

"It's obviously going to make the race very fractious, very interesting with the potential to have a lot of unflattering portraits," a pollster told Newsweek.
