Air India plane crash investigators have found both of the Boeing 787's "black boxes," hopefully brining an understanding of the disaster a step closer.

Investigators recovered the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) - the second black box - from the wreckage, along with a trailing wire from the aircraft’s rear section.

PK Mishra, Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in an official statement, confirmed that a second black box has been recovered from the Ahmedabad plane crash site.
