Amtrak to debut NextGen Acela to Northeast Corridor service
(WJAR) — Amtrak announced it will be launching a new high-speed train to its Northeast Corridor service this month. The NextGen Acela will begin traveling between Washington and Boston on Aug. 28. According to officials, the new train will have 27% more seats per departure and expand weekday and weekend service.
