One of the Indiana Pacers' key players, guard Aaron Nesmith, was battling a severe ankle injury throughout Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, still managing to play.

Nesmith, who has been playing through a sprained right ankle since late in Game 3, missed seven of eight field-goal attempts in the game for a playoff-low three points while logging only 16 minutes in the Knicks’ 111-94 Game 5 victory.

Forward Aaron Nesmith said his injured right ankle stiffened up some in Game 5 against the Knicks, but said it's 'no excuse' for his play
