One outspoken critic was team legend Terry Bradshaw. Before the signing, Bradshaw had offered a very critical take about Rodgers.

Phillies' Aaron Nola Announces Injury Update After Missing Two Months originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Right-handed starting pitcher Aaron Nola has appeared in eleven seasons for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said his best player avoided a much worse fate in terms of the injury. The team is optimistic he can return to the lineup as soon as he's eligible to be activated from his IL stint. He'll be eased in as the designated hitter to avoid putting too much strain on his elbow.

LATROBE, Pa. -- Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott cracked a joke on Instagram that Aaron Rodgers needed to ‘go to the retirement home’ before it was clear the team was interested in him. “Leave his (expletive) at the retirement home,” Elliott said in March.

Hall of Fame weekend is underway in Cooperstown and the big event will be the official induction of Ichiro Suzuki, CC Sabathia, Billy Wagner, Dave Parker and Dick Allen in a ceremony on Sunday.  A funny thing in reflecting on this class is there's excellent diversity.
