The band’s final concert of the season is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. July 8 at Kiwanis Park. The band also will perform in the Fourth of July parade at 1 p.m. Sunday in Charleston.

Previously published research revealed pollen season in North America lengthened by 20 days from 1990 to 2018. Scientists also found a 21% increase in pollen concentrations.

One 2020 study found that between 1990 and 2018, North American pollen seasons became 20 days longer on average with pollen concentrations increasing up to 21% during the same period.
