I love this place. Very peaceful. But my friend had a hard time enjoying herself because of the new emergency tube covers. Very hard to see anything.Full review by Rose B

Q:
how much is the boat tour
A:
Yes. $8. The earliest tour of the day has the most wildlife sightings, including manatees. Get there before the tourbooth opens and wait in line to secure a seat
Q:
Could you see any damage from the hurricane in the area?
A:
Some trees are down in the park, but the damage is slight and mostly not noticeable
Q:
Is it likely to see a manatee in early October here?
A:
Yes I always see manatees there in the fall both taking the boat ride at the park and renting kayaks down river by the bridge and paddling up river to the fence that blocks the way to the park
