If you go to the Louvre on one end or the Musee Orangerie on the other, you will walk through the Tuileries. That is the way to see it.Full review by tyjlevine

A beautiful place in the heart of Paris. We went there very early on a cold April morning. There was hardly anyone around, so it was quiet and it felt like we had the place for ourselves.Full review by Augusto R

Yes, there are public restrooms and they charge around .7 Euros last time we were there. It is on the left just before you get to the ferris wheel when walking from the Louvre.
