This is a small intimate jazz bar, with a nice atmosphere. Centrally located. It was a good band on, when we were there. We recommend a stop, when you are in central Amsterdam.Full review by NisseQ_Swe

Yes absolutely, the Cafe Alto and surrounding area Leidseplein are as safe as it's gets in Amsterdam. Have no fears and have a great time at Cafe Alto.
