The main Web site is in Dutch? I went to TripAdvisor. It appears only to be open on a Sunday 11-1600 . On Sunday 11/09/22 , I took bus 385 from Haarlem to Ijmuiden , and changed to 382 at Plien 19…Full review by bobbycath

This is no where near Ijmuiden unfortunately as it is well worth a visit. It is in Germany. It is free to go in. An interesting place to visit if you have a few hours before your ferry is the maritime museum in Ijmuiden. It is very near the ferry port. Don’t think this is a stuffy museum it is very interesting and actually has a radar with someone explaining what all the ‘blips’ on the screen are. Hope this helps.
