The entire cottage is gorgeous cedar, inside and out with a new, fresh look, settled upon a nice level lot along the waters edge. This quiet lake offers a relaxing haven beckoning for fun all summer long. The waters are clean to swim, canoe or row an aluminum boat which are included for your use. There is fishing for bass, pickerel, and white perch on Duck Lake, part of the headwaters of a 30 mile long West Branch of the St. Croix River shed that includes landlocked salmon in adjoining Junior Lake. Enjoy picturesque views of Almanac, Getchell, and Bowers mountain ranges at the dock. Loons, waterfowl and wildlife abound, and at night there is the hoot of an owl and crisp, glistening skies along the campfire. Out front there is a wildflower field of butterflies, hummingbirds and flying acrobats. Should the nights get cold there is a large wood burning stove with plenty of wood on site.
