The attraction itself is indoors, however you do have to walk across the courtyard from the reception block to the main block but its a short walk. It is a well presented visitor attraction with good toilet facilities and plenty of interest for all the family - quite moving!
Is your 5pm closing time last admissions time or is it time to get out lights are been switched of time

Hi Michael, 5pm is our last admission time unless we have an evening event then it may be slightly earlier. I would recommend contacting us before your visit just in case.
