This is a timed-entry National Park. I booked a 7 AM time slot online as soon as the window opened up in April. The visitor center is right near the entrance, and they don't open until 7:30, so I jus…Full review by Kewejebe

Hi Amber! We went in November and didn't have to use a timed entry pass. I know that during some of the busier months you do have to sign up to enter the park. Check the website NPS.gov, select the state, and it will list all the parks with various amounts of info. I would highly recommend the NPS annual pass since it allows you to enter all national parks under the one singular pass. We bought ours at REI and it cost a little under $80. Enjoy!
