West Midlands Safari Park is home to some of the world’s most beautiful and exotic creatures. Hi there. I’m sure the park is open in January, check web site thou. Best time to see animals is 2pm-3pm. They bring the lions, elephants and tigers near to the lodges so they are quite close. Giraffes are normally good to look at all the time. This is via the walking safari not the drive through safari. You can get to the walking safari from the theme park near to the main restaurant (dinos diner I think) which is open. I haven’t driven through the drive safari for a while but would get there 11am-12pm, use the toilets then do the drive throu and walk in the park to see tigers etc. hope this helps.
hi i have a hard top convertible, would i be able to have the roof down around the herbivore part of the safari and put the roof back up for the carnivores?

Hello Riley S, sorry I can’t help we stayed in a lodge and didn’t do the Safari drive as we had a private veranda over looking the park, apologies we can’t help.
