Photography Mornings Your host Fiona starts the morning at 9.30am in the Cabin Café for an introduction to the course and each other. She then runs over a few rules, and then go over the best settings and the best lenses to use for the different part of the morning. Fiona will also go over the birds she will be using on both static and flying parts of the morning. Around 9.50am - the group head over to the location and the first hour is spent with birds on natural perches, Included is a feeding opportunity where one of the birds will be fed what would normally be a natural prey item in the wild. This year there are new perches and A reflection pool available. After the first hour another group of birds are used for an hour of flying shots, the falconers will fly them specifically to enable you to get the best shots you can. It does take practice and we will have a variety of birds some fast some slow. Your payment also gives you entry to the centre so once you have finished you can go to catch the public display at 12 noon and the second display at 3 (2nd full display starts after clocks have gone forward, before then there is one bird flown at 3pm) All this for only £30 per person Dates for the Morning sessions. Sunday March 25th Sunday April 22nd Saturday May 26th – with the option of booking the afternoon with the reptiles (£65) Sunday June 10th Sunday July 29th Sunday August 26th Sunday September 23rd
