Are the boats running now?
A:
Yes, they are running. You need to make a reservation in advance or you take a chance of not getting to go. They are well worth it and interesting info told by a park ranger.

$8 for the tour. Go early to avoid crowds. We did not have to wait.

Some trees are down in the park, but the damage is slight and mostly not noticeable

I honestly can’t say. Manatees are known for grouping around Springs in the cold winter months. October is early for the grouping, however seeing one at any time of year is amazing. I am a Native Floridian and can count on one hand how many times I’ve seen a manatee in the wild, aside from the winter grouping. Sorry I can’t be more help. Good luck! I say any time of year is a good time to try and see them. I would call the springs and ask them.
