Village Green started out as Horsley's Nursery and Florist in the mid 1950's, Lee and Fern Horsley with their family started the business. In the early 1960's Horsley family built the current location at 715 South Saginaw Road. Horsley's incorporated the business in August of 1963. In 1976 the Horsley family sold the business to Larry and Suzanne Wegner. Shortly before the Horsley family sold the business to the Wegner's, Horsley's added Village Green as it's doing business name. The Wegner's family ran the business until January of 2000 when they sold the business to Joe and Maureen Kozuch (. The Kozuch's currently run the operation. Village Green offers many products that date back to the Horsley's time ( Flowers, Plants, Godiva Chocolates ) and many more from the Wegner's time as well ( Caspari, Sadek, Recycled Cards ). The Kozuch's most significant new product introductions have been Vera Bradley, Crabtree & Evelyn and Trollbeads. Village Green continues to look for new and exciting products.
