Temple I is part of the Gran Plaza complex. It's a very imposing structure, one of the images featuring Tikal's iconic pictures. Climbing the temple is prohibited.Full review by Ron S

Located on the Gran Plaza it's a famous edifice featuring most of iconic Tikal pictures. You can climb to the upper platform. The wooden staircase is located in the back of the pyramid.Full review by Ron S
Hi Francis, Someone has mentioned that was traveling through the jungle to be able to get to this temple. Do I need special shots before my trip, because of the jungle? Usually when you are going to visit the jungle, it's required to get the shots.... Please advise. Thank you RomanP
