It's such a lovely place that isn't overcrowded. We spent the day fishing along the bay. While leaving at sunset, we even saw 3 deers!Full review by Sam B

Based on aerial video the road between the camp store and the first Campground was completely washed away. The Cape from that point north has become an island and is cut off with …

Based on aerial video the road between the camp store and the first Campground was completely washed away. The Cape from that point north has become an island and is cut off with no road access. We'll have to wait to see if the state builds a bridge or attempts to backfill with rock and sand to rebuilt the road. In either case it will be a long time before the campgrounds are accessible, if ever again.

Hi! We enjoyed St. Joe Peninusla State Park a lot, you can snorkel in the bay and then walk across the street to enjoy the gulf. It is at the tip of Cape San Blas, about 20 minutes from Port St. Joe. Google the park website for info. Hope this helps!

No, & you can’t even finish the walk unless you’re an overnight guest. I think the only way is by beach.
