I think there is a walk at the rear of the park to Polzeath beach but I would say it's a good hours walk. I think it's the route that people use to get to Rock. We only went in the car which probably took about 15 minutes and after 6pm you can park on the beach but there is a parking fee. Not sure if this is any help.
