Yes, some of the campsites next to the lake are suitable to be able to beach your boat and tie if off, leaving it in the lake.

There is a small store thst sells snacks. Also there is an exxon gas station nearby. Restaurants of the fastfood variety are only 5-7min away on Sandifer blvd. (Wendy's, Arby's, McDonald's, Burger King, Chik fil A, Little Caesars, Taco Bell, and Zaxby's as well as an Applebee's and Fatz Café).

You can swim anywhere around the park except the boat ramps. It is swim at your own risk.
