Swam in the lake. Very dog friendly. Lake water was very refreshing during the hot August weather. Great area to picnic,hike or just sit under a shade tree and read a book.Full review by Q1295DWchrism

We stopped in to see this beautiful park right off the Savannah River. The lake and camp sites are very nice plus there is a great children’s playground area. Everyone was very friendly.Full review by S1849DHmichaelf

I need to also add that there are several army corps of engineer sites too nearby at least two more within a few miles of Sadlers creek state park ( Springfield comes to mind and nice too) …
I need to also add that there are several army corps of engineer sites too nearby at least two more within a few miles of Sadlers creek state park ( Springfield comes to mind and nice too) however, if not mistaken, they too have a 14 day limit and you have to leave for a day or two before coming back. You might be able to bounce around among them or find a private extended stay campground...probably several nearby
