The Jewish Museum in Auschwitz preserves the Jewish heritage of Oświęcim (Auschwitz) in Poland and educates about the Holocaust and the dangers of prejudice and hatred today. The Jewish Museum is located in the heart of the Old Town of Oświęcim, next to the only surviving synagogue and the former home of the last Jewish resident of Oświęcim – which now houses Café Bergson.

I would like to visit but would have to bring my nine year old.....is it suitable for children?

I think it should be ok. Obviously you have to judge it yourself. Some 9 years old they very bright and interested in history. Kids may have a lot of questions to explain what actually …
I think it should be ok. Obviously you have to judge it yourself. Some 9 years old they very bright and interested in history. Kids may have a lot of questions to explain what actually happen and what's all those things there are. Don't forget In Poland a lot of school trips goes to Auschwitz. But like I said it's your decision.
