I don't think you can stay on the island. We only dived nearby and travelled there by boat. It's probably about 30 minutes from Panagsama Beach which is near Moalboal. Panagsama Beach is a lovely area, well worth a visit. Lots of good places to stay and good restaurants too.
We are travelling in October 1st week and plan to spend a night or 2 in Moalboal. Both me and my husband do not know swimming, but we have snorkelled and dived (beginner's dive) in various places earlier with the help of operators. I wanted to know if Pescador Island tour operator/fishermen help beginners snorkel/dive? Can someone guide me to a good contact for this? Thanks in advance! Priyanka

Just tell your tour guide or boat operator that you can't swim and they will surely assists you because your safety is also their concern. Enjoy your future trip.. cheers

It's better to stay in the south if you want to see Cebu Island. From Cebu City you have to take a ride down to Moalboal. We rented a car for 2000 Pesos per day. We stayed at a resort in Moalboal (Bonita Oasis something) and they arranged a boat for 2000 pesos. The guy took us to Pescador for snorkeling and then swimming with turtles and Sardin runs to other places. As a bonus, we saw dolphins while we were going to Pescador. The boat was hired for three hours.
Is 11k pesos tour in Moal Boal - Pescador Island - Kawasan - Sumilon for two pax without accommodation is worth it?
A:
Hi, it does sound a lot but you are doing 3 tours, we asked around Moalboal for prices and bartered hard for our trips, they will come down with prices, try it. Good luck.
