Overrated beach. Full of people, sunbeds super close to each other, 15€ parking and 15€ 2sunbeds (we arrive at 14:00 and left at 16:00). Full review by bedeea

We are thinking of going for a late afternoon (5-6 pm) swim at Petani; is it likely to still be be busy (weekend / late august 2021 so covid affected visitor numbers)?

We went during the day and it wernt awfully busy so I reckon later in the day will be even quieter. We didn't get sunbeds we just lay our towels down in a quiet spot it was lovely.

Not sure where you are staying but from Lixouri it takes about 25 mins driving. Very steep, winding road down to beach and extremely busy on weekends and during August. There …

Not sure where you are staying but from Lixouri it takes about 25 mins driving. Very steep, winding road down to beach and extremely busy on weekends and during August. There are hotels in that area, you can google them. If you are staying on the other side of the island it may be a good idea to stay in a B&B on the Paliki if you want to see that side. Car rental is a must!

Yes you can, but there are at least 2,5 km climbing on the hill
