Really quiet when we went in September. Had the place to ourselves. If you like zoos then this one is worth a visit. In an ideal world some of the enclosures should have been larger, but I felt they …Full review by Andrew N

A large zoo where animals have spacious ‘homes’ - not in cages. It’s a large area. Allow enough time to cover the entire zoo. Very interesting. Lots of written explanations - but only in French.…Full review by erk
Is it easy to drive to or do we need to use public transport
A:
It is easy to drive no worry, also it's very accessible with public transport. Any metro station you reach to, there is a bus that will take you to it. It's just one station.
Hi, I'm looking to go straight from cdg to the zoo, due to an early arrival and not being able to check in at my hotel until 2pm. I will have a small item of luggage with me. Are there any lockers to store such an item? Tia

I don't think there are lockers to store items at the zoo (I didn't see any). What I suggest is to go to the hotel & drop your stuff off at the concierge's area for storage until your room is ready for check in at the that hotel. My husband says you should e-mail the zoo & ask them if they have storage lockers. I think you should drop off the items at the hotel. You may want to go to the zoo and then out to eat & taking your items around the city will make you look like a tourist which may set you up to be robbed. In any strange city, try not to look like a tourist. It's safer that way. By the way, this is a large zoo with a good deal of walking, so wear good walking shoes. If you have good weather, better....much of the zoo is outside. Best if you speak French...many of the workers at this zoo don't speak English (if that be your native language).
